Gay Saundra Murry

Gay Saundra Murry was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 18,1960 to Katie Bell Townsend she was educated through the Indianapolis public school system and a graduate of Arlington High School. After high school she married the love of her life this union lasted until the day she died 46 years of marriage to Johnny Murry together they had 3 lovely children Tamika, Andrae, and Lakeeshia Murry.

Gay Saundra Murry accepted Christ in her life at a very early age and was devoted to the service of the Lord until the day she died. She was faithful alter worker and loved praying for people alongside her husband on the 1st Sunday of every month because church was her life.

Gay Saundra Murry was a school teacher and childcare provider most of her life because working with kids was her passion, she also worked in healthcare as an amazing DSP “AKA” Direct Support Professional for 11 years before she retired in 11/29/2024.

Gay Saundra Murry was a God fearing, kind, sweet, nice, and loving to everybody she met and she always loved to help people. She always wanted the best for everyone including herself she loved spending time with family, friends, and grandkids she was the glue that held the family together with her with her kindhearted and saved spirit.

Gay Saundra Murry she is survived by her husband Johnny Murry, Mother Katie Townsend daughters Tamika and Keeshia Murry, Son Andrae Murry, brother’s Matthew Kilpatrick and Oscar Hampton, sister Cissy Cheatham, grandson Jordan Carter, granddaughters Addison and Emersyn Murry and a host of relatives and friends.
