Evelyn "Susie" Carr

Evelyn Sue "Susie" Carr, 70, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2025, at home with family.

Born on August 31, 1954, in Indianapolis, Evelyn was the beloved daughter of Thomas and Evelyn Conrad. She spent her life being a hardworking and loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She shared 40 cherished years with her husband, Ronnie Carr. Together they built a family that brought them immense pride and joy. Susie is lovingly remembered by her children: William McMichael and his wife Lisa; Ashley Carr; and Sandrea Carr. Her nurturing spirit extended to her grandchildren—Grayson Martin, Anthony Carr, Matthew Gates, Randi Trusley, Ashley McMichael, Katie McMichael, and Justin McMichael—each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Susie also leaves behind her sister Nellie Morris.

In addition to being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister, Susie found joy in simple pleasures. She had a fondness for bingo nights and playing euchre—pastimes that brought laughter and fun into her life. These hobbies reflected her fun-loving nature and gave those around her countless memories filled with joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Evelyn Conrad.

Funeral service will be held Friday, July 27, 2025 at 3pm at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be held from 1pm until time of service.
