Elizabeth “Libby” Biggers, passed away on February 18, 2023.
Libby was born in Indianapolis, IN, to Andy and Helen (Pullen) Cantrell on September 27, 1959, and when God made her he broke the mold. Libby was one of a kind. She was outgoing, free-spirited, and kind to everyone she met. Like the true hippie she was, Libby loved her tie-dye. She was known to have the cutest jewelry, hats, and bags. Libby was always the life of the party. She enjoyed playing games and singing, and her smile could light up the room. For all that she was fun, Libby was also tough. She was very outspoken and never one to be afraid to speak her mind. She made sure she imparted the best parts of herself into her daughter Carmen (Renee when she was in trouble!), but she most importantly taught her love, and that she was loved fiercely. When Libby loved she loved with her whole heart, especially when her grand babies came along. She lived her life to the fullest. She was the best mamaw, gran, mommy, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed.
Libby is survived by her daughter Carmen (David); her grandchildren Larry ‘Bub’, Kevin ‘Boogs, Marisa ‘Twisted Sister” and Isaiah; her great-grandchildren, aka her crazies, Zacharie, Maricle, and Zayden; her sisters Nancy, Hazel, Ruby, and Ellen; her brothers John and Charlie; and many nieces and nephews whom she adored.
Libby is preceded in passing by her parents Andy and Helen Cantrell; her husband Daniel Biggers; her sister Becky; and her brothers George, Gordon, and Mark.
Services for Libby will be 2 PM, Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the hour of service. Burial will follow services at Floral Park Cemetery.
