Edna Lorene Stearns, 91, of Van Bibbler Lake, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on September 15, 2021.

Edna was born in Nashville, TN on December 31, 1929 to Taylor Henry and Etta Clara (Chaffin) Swindle. She worked at IPS for many years in the maintenance department.

Edna is survived by daughters Otha Merle Simmons and Carol Diane Haney; nieces Loretta, Terrylynn, and Connie; and several grand children, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Edna is preceded in passing by her parents, Taylor and Etta Swindle; her husband Lloyd Edgar Stearns; her sons David Otis Simmons and Raymond Dwayne Haney; grandson Bobby Ray Haney; and 3 sisters.
