Dwaine O Nault, 94, of Indianapolis, formerly of Clyde, Kansas, passed away on April 17, 2021.
Dwaine was born in Clyde, Kansas on September 22, 1926 to Oliver and Loretta Nault. He enlisted in the Navy during WWII, and once out went on to get his BA of Engineering and Science. He was a Kansas Man through and through, and the Kansas State University is where he earned his degrees. He was a gifted golfer and achieved several holes-in-one over his lifetime. Westerns were his media entertainment of choice and he loved playing cards, especially poker. In his later years he enjoyed playing team trivia at the White River Yacht Club. Boating was his passion, and he owned a boat in every city he ever lived in, besides Indy. His family was important to him, and his daughter Jane took care of him for the past 14 years. He adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Dwaine is survived by his daughter Jane; his grandson Patrick Kagi; his granddauaghter Lane Nadler; his great-grandson Patrick Nadler; and his dog Bailey-Girl.
In addition to his parents, Dwaine is preceded in passing by his wife Lorraine; his daughter Clare Nault Kagi; and his son Steve Nault.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the family's discretion.
