Born on May 13, 1963, in Vigo County, IN, Duane's journey was marked by his steadfast dedication to family and his infectious zest for life. He embraced various roles with enthusiasm and love, leaving an lasting mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

For many years, Duane worked as a dump truck driver, a profession he chose to remain close to his children. Being a father was his greatest joy and passion, and he excelled in it. His children and grandchildren knew him not only as Dad but also as "Uncle Daddy" and "Pap-pap," titles that spoke volumes about his immense capacity for love and nurturing.

Duane found solace and adventure in the outdoors. Hunting and fishing were not just hobbies; they were his way of connecting with the world around him. His mischievous spirit shone through his love for pranks and jokes, making him the life of any gathering. His collection of novelty hats and shirts became a testament to his unique sense of style and humor.

Duane was a dependable presence in the lives of those he loved. He fought against the odds with unparalleled strength and resilience, never hesitating to lend a helping hand. He leaves behind a legacy of love, courage, and determination that will continue to inspire us all.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Diana, who stood by his side through thick and thin. His children, Anastazia, Kenneth, and Duane "Charlie," carry with them the lessons and love he bestowed upon them. His cherished grandchildren, Maverick, Grayson, Cyrus, Azel, Spencer, Luke, and Maddie, reflect the enduring impact of his guidance and care.
