Donna Michelle Johnson

Donna Michelle Johnson, 53 of Indianapolis passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Indiana University Health Medical Center in Indianapolis. Donna “Michelle” was born on October 15, 1967, in Cookeville, Tennessee to Timothy Allen and Delsie Marie (Carr) Johnson.  

Michelle worked in the restaurant industry, cooking and delivering her favorite food, pizza! Michelle was incredibly independent, and she always wore the shorts in the relationship (never pants!).  She was compassionate, kind-hearted, and the type of person who would take someone in from the cold just because.  Her family was especially important to her and she loved being GiGi (Never Grandma). The thing she treasured unconditionally was spending time with her kids. 

Michelle is survived by her parents; Timothy and Delsie Johnson; children; Stephen Brown, Timmy (Alyssa) Brown, Jimmy Brown, and Kayla Brown; grandchildren; Haileigh Brown, Jazlynn Brown, and Aliyah Burchett; sisters; Delsie Grant, Peggy Johnson, and Tammy Shortridge; numerous nieces and nephews.

Michelle was preceded in death by her son Markey Brown; grandparents; Carl and Ruby Carr; nephew; Dalton Shortridge; and grandmother Louis Taylor.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services, 1420 Prospect Street, Indianapolis, IN 46203. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021at the funeral home.
