Donald "Donnie" Smitty

Donald “Donnie” Smitty, 70, of Indianapolis, formerly of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away on March 28, 2025.

Born on August 6, 1954, in Murfreesboro, TN, to Henry Sr. and Charlotte Ann (White) Smitty, Donnie was full of life. He loved being social, having fun, and sharing good times with family and friends. He was an excellent cook and enjoyed whipping up meals for those around him. An outdoorsman at heart, Donnie loved fishing, camping, and spending time outside.

He is survived by his siblings, Denise Faye Wise, Arnold Jay Smitty, and Henry M. (Andrea) Smitty Jr.; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, and friends.

Donnie is preceded in passing by his parents, Henry and Charlotte Smitty; and his sisters Henrietta Mae Wallace and Linda Kaye Featherstone.
