Debra "Debbie" Jean (Tackett) Thompson

In loving memory of Debra "Debbie" Jean Thompson, born on November 11, 1967, in Indianapolis, IN, and departed on January 10, 2024. Debbie, the daughter of Gary and Donna (Shaw) Tackett, left behind a life rich in simple joys and cherished moments.

Debbie found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from scrolling through Facebook to immersing herself in music and movies. Her beloved dog, Choco, held a special place in her heart, a loyal companion through the ups and downs of life. Though she could be ornery and stubborn, beneath it all, Debbie had a heart of gold.

Known for her infectious laughter and a spirit that embraced fun, Debbie was always true to herself. She leaves behind a legacy of genuine moments and a personality that brightened the lives of those around her. Her memory will be carried on by those she held dear.

Debbie is survived by her daughter, Shawna, and grandchildren Xavier, Mayson, and Nevaeh. Her siblings Linda and Craig, along with nieces and nephews Dawn, Crystal, Denise, Kevin, Gary, Sam, and Christopher, remember her with love. Her boyfriend Keith, her faithful dog Choco, numerous great nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends also mourn her passing.

Services to celebrate Debbie's life will be held at 5 PM on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will take place from 2 PM until the hour of service, providing an opportunity for friends and family to come together and honor the memory of a woman who lived life authentically and with a generous heart.
