Debra "Debbie" Ann Burchfield, born on June 24, 1956, in Indianapolis, IN, to Freddy and Jeanie (Johnson) Dean, passed away on September 10, 2023. Debbie may have stood at just 4'11" in stature, but her spirit soared to an impressive 7'. She was a true spitfire, unapologetically herself, and never hesitated to speak her mind. Debbie's personality had no filter, and she lived life authentically and boldly.
While she could be rough around the edges, those who knew her best recognized her kind and loving heart. Debbie's capacity for love was boundless, and over the years, she joyfully embraced her role as a grandmother, continually acquiring more cherished grandkids. Her love knew no bounds, and her family was her greatest treasure.
Debbie had a knack for finding shopping deals and sales, a talent she wielded with enthusiasm, to her husbands chagrin. Her shopping adventures were a source of delight and excitement in her life, and she shared her bargain-hunting prowess with those she loved.
Throughout her life, Debbie was inseparable from the love of her life, Randy Burchfield, with whom she shared 39 beautiful years. Together, they navigated life's highs and lows, forming a bond that was unbreakable. Her son, Jamie Trotter, were a source of pride and joy.
Debbie leaves behind a legacy of love through her grandchildren: Andrew, Kyle, Katie, Tessa, and Mia. Her sister, Linda (Kenny); great-grandchildren Isaiah and Skyleigh; and bonus daughter, Tonya (Kyle), also hold her memory close to their hearts.
Debbie is preceded in passing by her parents, Freddy and Jeanie Dean; and son Randy Trotter.
As we say goodbye to Debbie, let us remember her fiery spirit, her unfiltered authenticity, and the boundless love she shared with her family. While her physical presence may be gone, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
