Davy D. "Bug" Keen, Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on November 5, 2023, at the age of 39. He was born on April 22, 1984, to his parents Davy D. Keen Sr. and Tammy (Compton) Keen. Davy was skilled in the HVAC profession, which he pursued with dedication.
He had a passion for sports, particularly the Indianapolis Colts, and was known for his love of basketball, earning him the nickname "The Harlan Globe Trotter" due to his avid participation in both playing and watching the sport. Davy had a unique trait of finding value in things and enjoyed sharing his treasures with loved ones. He had a special bond with "Pirates" with Lil Matt, using it as a way to pass on his love for the simple joys in life.
Davy had his quirks, like frequently changing phones, but he also had a thoughtful side, always making sure to mow his parents' lawn every week. Family meant the world to him, and he was fiercely protective and loyal. He was the kind of person who would do whatever it took to help his family, earning the title of "Ride or Die."
Davy is survived by his children, Anthony Wayne and Charleigh Syrene, his parents, Davy Sr. and Tammy Keen, his siblings Melanie Robbins, David "Matt" Keen, and Alyssa Barron, his best friend Brandon Trammel, a special friend named Chasity, and several nieces and nephews, including Nevaeh, Lil Matt, Baylee, Caleb, and Caelynn.
Davy is preceded in passing by his brother Anthony Wayne Keen and stepson Trenton.
Services are 4 PM, Monday, November 13, 2023 at Power of Prayer Community Church. Visitation will be from 1 PM until the hour of service.
