David "Dave" Wayne Liford

**David "Dave" Wayne Liford**, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2024. Dave was born in Indianapolis, IN, on December 25, 1945, to John and Helen Liford.

For over 20 years, Dave operated a popular lunch mobile, affectionately known as the "Roach Coach" by his children, often slipping them treats from his stock. He was known for his tireless work ethic and his unwavering willingness to help anyone in need.

As a dedicated father, Dave loved taking his children camping every weekend, teaching them to fish, and sharing his passion for the outdoors. He also enjoyed working on cars and took pride in teaching his daughter how to maintain and repair them.

Dave is survived by his children Shelly Sellers, David Liford, and Lisa Chilton; his grandchildren Christopher, Rachael, Bradley, Gavin, and Destiny; his brother Bobby Liford; and his sister Pam Liford. He was preceded in death by his parents and his other siblings.

Dave's generosity, hard work, and love for his family will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
