David Michael Ross

David "Wild Man" Michael Ross, left this world on October 5, 2023, at the age of 64. Born in Indianapolis, IN, on August 17, 1959, to Roy Brown and Minnie Marie (Dunn) Ross, David's journey was filled with the simple joys of life.

David spent many years of his life behind the wheel of a trusty wrecker, helping folks in their times of need. He could fix up a car and lend a helping hand as needed. But his true passion revolved around those four-wheeled wonders, and he lived and breathed NASCAR. Dale Earnhardt was his racing hero, and that allegiance stayed with him to the very end.

Aside from the roar of the racetrack, David had a soft spot for wrestling. Despite the nickname "Wild Man," David was as gentle as a breeze through the cornfields. He had a heart of gold, always ready with a smile and a kind word for everyone he met.

Family was everything to David, and he loved his family dearly. He had a knack for teasing and playing pranks on his nieces and nephews, and those moments will be cherished by them forever. His fondest memories were often made visiting his sister in Tennessee.

David leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, carried on by his siblings Aurelia, Roy, Bob, and Evelyn, his three beloved grandchildren, and a multitude of nieces and nephews who'll keep his spirit alive.

We say goodbye to David as he joins those who've gone before him: his father Roy Ross, his mother Minnie Cravens, his wife Carol, his daughter Tiffany Hunt, and his sisters Julia and Mary.

We invite you to join us in celebrating David's life at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 1 PM, with visitation starting at 11 AM. In honor of David, the family kindly requests that floral tributes be held back.

As we part ways with our dear "Wild Man," let's remember him as he would want us to: with a hearty laugh, the sound of a revving engine, and a warm sense of family. Rest easy, David, and may your journey be as smooth as a country road at sunset.
