Daniel "Bo" Lee Johnson, 60, of Indianapolis, formerly of Huntington, WV, passed away on October 7, 2021.
The son of Jim Goode, Bo was born in Huntington, WV, on January 13, 1961. He worked in construction and was known for his strong work ethic. A self proclaimed asshole, he was very vocal, stubborn, and ornery. But he could also be very loving, outgoing, social, and fun. He adored his grandchildren and was thrilled to be a grandpa. He never turned down a home cooked meal, and if it included fried potatoes you couldn't keep him away. He loved his fireball and was very devious about getting it. Snoopy was his favorite cartoon.
Bo is survived by his children Wink (Mandy), Samuel (Autumn), Bethany, and Frankie (Nick); his grandchildren Samuel, Heaven, Daniel, James, Billy, Peyton, Kaydence, Savannah, Jason, Cameron, Lilly, Brantley, Michael, JJ, and Nicholas; his siblings Billy (Regina), Angel (John), Tina, and Kimberly; and many nieces and nephews.
Bo is preceded in passing by his wife, Betty Layman (Johnson); his daughter Faye; his father Jim Goode; and his sisters Tonya and Tammy.
Services for Bo will be 5 PM, Friday, October 15, at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 2 PM until the hour of service.
