Daniel Scott Holt, born on April 18, 1962, in Indianapolis, IN, passed away on September 28, 2023. He was the son of Romeo Holt and Donna Woodcock. Daniel's life was marked by his passion for mechanics, a love that extended to boats and motorcycles, but only Hondas, none of that Harley nonsense. Daniel also loved racing, especially the Indy 500.
Daniel proudly served his country in the Air Force and was stationed in Germany for most of his military service. An adventurous spirit, he tackled The Dragon on Father's Day every year, relishing the thrill of the ride. Travel was another of his great joys, and he explored far and wide during his lifetime.
Known for his good-natured personality and a wonderful sense of humor, Daniel was always there for his friends, ever willing to lend a helping hand. His journey into love took an unexpected turn when he was paid by his brother-in-law to take his wife on their first date, but it ended with 38 years of love and companionship.
Daniel is survived by his devoted wife, Kelly, and a host of friends who will miss him dearly. He is preceded in passing by his parents, Romeo Holt and Donna Woodcock, his brother David Woodcock, and his grandmother Helen Anderson.
A Memorial Service to honor Daniel's life will be held at 4:30 PM, Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 3734 Furguson Road, Indianapolis, IN 46237, with friends invited from 3 PM - 6 PM to visit and honor Daniels life. In memory of Daniel, let us remember the laughter he brought into our lives and the generosity of his spirit. His memory will live on in our hearts. Rest in peace, Daniel Scott Holt.
