Courtney Faith Riley

Courtney Faith Riley, 32, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 25, 2022.

Courtney was born in Indianapolis, IN, on January 16, 1990, the daughter of Lavon Riley and Amanda Emberton.  Courtney had an artistic soul, she wrote poetry and could sing like an angel. She was passionate in all that she did, and fought to achieve whatever she set her mind to. Courtney had a big heart and loved fiercely.  She was funny and could light up a room.  If you had had a bad day, no one could brighten it and turn it around like Courtney.  She had a gentle soul and tried to help anyone she could.  Even if you were on the outs, if you needed her she would drop everything to be there.  For as sweet as she was, Courtney also had a spicy side and would get her point across in a loving firm way. She was a sweet soul who will be greatly missed.

Courtney is survived by her children Nakeeya RIley, La'Mya Riley, and Courtez Baldison; her cousin Mickeeya Abney; her grandmother Jannette Emberton; her siblings Lavon III, Ciera, Aliah, Vermont Jr, Jazmine, Mello, Daivon, Angelo; her father Lavon Riley; her mother Amanda Emberton; and many niece, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Friends and family are invited to visit between the hours of 1-5PM, Monday, August 1, 2022 at Fountain Square Cremation&Funeral Services, with funeral services for Courtney start at 5 PM.
