Christopher "Chris" Allen Lisby, 31, of Indianapolis, passed away on June 15, 2024. Born in Indianapolis on June 19, 1992, to Anita Lisby, Chris was known for his incredible intelligence and friendly nature.
Chris had a zest for life that was evident in his every action. He enjoyed walking everywhere, taking in the world at his own pace, and engaging with the people and places he encountered along the way. His talent for creating unusual food combinations was a source of humor for those around him, as he loved to surprise his friends and family with his culinary experiments. His creativity in the kitchen was just one example of his innovative spirit and willingness to think outside the box.
An outgoing and sociable person, Chris saw the best in everyone he met and had an extraordinary ability to connect with people from all walks of life. His friendly demeanor and genuine interest in others made him easy to talk to. Chris had a remarkable gift for conversation, often leaving a lasting impression.
Chris had a deep and abiding love for Star Wars, a passion that he could discuss at length with anyone willing to listen. He immersed himself in the lore and universe of Star Wars, finding joy and inspiration in its stories and characters. His enthusiasm for the franchise was infectious, and he enjoyed sharing this passion with his son and others who shared his interests.
Family was everything to Chris. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones and was always ready to lend a helping hand or offer support. His love for his family was immense, and he took great pride in his role as a father, brother, uncle, and nephew. Chris’s generosity, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.
Chris is survived by his beloved son Victor; his siblings Robert and Shane; his cherished niece Annika; his adored nephews Elijah and Bentley; his loving aunts Linda and Nina; and his dear uncle David. He is preceded in passing by his mother Anita and his sister Amanda.
