Charles Kenneth Smith Jr

Charles Kenneth Smith Jr, 57, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018.

Charles was born on March 7, 1961 to Martha (Rogers) and Charles Smith Sr.  He liked to be outside, whether it was enjoying a good campfire or fishing.  He loved to tinker and was a master at taking things apart and intending to put them back together.  He loved old Westerns.  He had a big heart, and called his loved ones daily to make sure they were okay. Never a text, always a voice call.

Charles is survived by his stepdaughter, Andrea Stewart; his siblings Alice Norman, Donna Hicks, Garry Wright, Curtis Smith, Ronnie Smith, and Carolyn Gemmill; many nieces and nephews; many grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Charles is preceded in passing by his wife, Delores Raeann Smith; and his parents Martha and Charles Smith Sr.

Services for Charles will be 4 PM, Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 1 PM until the hour of service.
