Cathy Marie Basso

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cathy Marie Basso, who peacefully departed this life on January 18th, 2025 at the age of 59. A loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, etc., she will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for those around her.

Born on May 15th, 1965 in Indianapolis, Cathy devoted her life to her family. Cathy worked as a housekeeper and for the Salvation Army. Cathy found joy in watching her soap operas, hallmark movies, and playing her games. Cathy was always bringing warmth and light to those in her presence.

She is survived by her husband Paul Basso, her mother Barbara Heady, her siblings; Edward Heady JR, Bruce Heady, and Breanna Heady, her children; Amy Heady, James Heady, David Basso, and Christy Schwert, 13 grandchildren; Serenity, Micheal, Jamal, Delanie, Alexis, Aleah, Ryan, Rogan, Will, Leland, Daylan, Aidan, Braylon and 1 great grandson Labaron III who will forever cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her father Edward Heady Sr and her sister Robin Louise Heady.

Though she is no longer with us, her love, wisdom, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
