Carole Sue Johnson

Carole Sue Johnson, 79, passed away on January 12, 2024.

Carole was the best Mother, Daughter, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, and Sister you could ever meet.  She would have helped a stranger and not thought a second about it.  She will always be that big shining star in the sky shining brightly for everyone to see; still looking over her family like the Mother Hen she was.  We will all miss her but we have to remember: Jesus came for her and that is a beautiful thing.  Carole is now at peace with her mother and her other family.  She is happy; so when you think about her, just know that she is in heaven with Jesus, enjoying the blessings of eternity.  You couldn't ask for a better place to be.  Carole was so loved and so beautiful; thank you God for taking her into your loving arms and for taking care of dearly beloved Susie Q. ~tribute written by daughter Tammy Campbell

Carole is survived by her children Debbie Daniels, Tammy (Corey) Campbell; grandchildren Carrisa Daniels, Anthony and Rachel Killion, Vanessa (Chris) Killion, Calita Daniels, Angala Turner, Otis “Brent” Winters, Angel Turner, and Janie Killion; great-grandchildren Dasani, Honesty, Samari, Annabelle, Gabriel, Lilly, Destiny, Jace, Zach, Christian, Savannah, Ernest, Melody, Michael; siblings Donna and Leslie Stinson, Merry Benton, Belinda and Ronnie Willoughby, Sharon Valasques, Timmy and Delsie Johnson, and Jimmy Johnson; niblings Sharon Stinson, Allen Stinson, Tammy Johnson, Delsie Johnson, Peggy Johnson, Lisa Johnson, Lisa Valasques, Steven Benton, Lena Valasques, Timmy Thurston, and Ricky Thurston; friends Kathy Stevenson, Tonya and James Cameron.

Carole is preceded in passing by her parents; her son Michael Killion; grandson Gregory Killion; and her sister Nancy Johnson.
