Brian Keith Sawyer

Brian Keith Sawyer, 57, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 20, 2025.

Born on May 14, 1967, in Indianapolis, IN, to Bonnie Sue Maynard, Brian lived a life defined by his resilience and hard work. He was a man who could hustle with the best of them, always finding a way to provide and do his best with the circumstances he was given. Brian was known for his resourcefulness and determination, and those qualities definitely left a lasting impression on those around him.

When life allowed, Brian was a devoted father who cared deeply for his children and family. His family will always remember the moments when his love and support shone through. He was so proud to become a grandpa and lived for the moments he could spend with his grandchildren.

Brian is survived by his loving wife, Michelle; his children, Brian (Amanda), Brian, and Tiffany; his grandchildren, Arianna and Brian Jr., who brought him immense joy; his brother, Tommy; the mother of his son, Melissa; and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in passing by his mother, Bonnie Maynard, his stepson, David Decker, and his sister Pam.
