Breonna Gwinn Obituary

With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a force of nature, Breonna Ranae Gwinn, who left us on February 16, 2024, leaving behind memories that will endure and a profound impact on those who knew her. Born in Indianapolis on September 21, 1996, Breonna was a firecracker from the start.

Breonna's life was a testament to resilience and determination. She tackled every challenge with a fierce spirit, never hesitating to roll up her sleeves and do what was necessary to provide for herself and her loved ones. Her unwavering strength and tenacity were matched only by her generosity. Breonna had a heart of gold, always ready to extend a helping hand to those in need, even if it meant sacrificing her own comfort.

A true original, Breonna marched to the beat of her own drum. She was feisty, outgoing, and endlessly fun-loving. With boundless energy and a zest for life, she lit up every room she entered. A girly-girl at heart, she always made sure her hair and makeup were on point, frequently dying her hair to suit the look she was going for.

Above all else, Breonna was a devoted mother. Her children, Nevaeh and Bryson, were the center of her universe, and she poured every ounce of love and devotion into their upbringing. Her fierce independence was matched only by her unwavering dedication to her family.  When it came to her babies, there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do.

Breonna leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be valued by all who knew her. Though she may be gone from our sight, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. As we gather to celebrate her life, let us remember Breonna for the vibrant soul she was—a one-of-a-kind angel in a devil's disguise.

Breonna is survived by her father, Mike (Susy) Noel; her mother, Ranae (Rick) Bray; her beloved children, Nevaeh and Bryson; her siblings, Michelle, Brandon, Ricky Jr, Michael, and Kenya; her grandparents, Michael and Sherry Noel, Della Jean Gwinn, and Louie Bray; her aunts and uncles, Roger, Larry, Carrie, Rebecca, Rose, Robbie, Scott, and Spring; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Breonna is preceded in death by her grandmother, Theresa Bray.

A celebration of Breonna's life will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 7 PM at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services, with visitation beginning at 3 PM until the start of the service. Let us come together to honor the memory of a remarkable woman who touched the lives of so many. Breonna may be gone, but her spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
