Brenda J (Brown) Rigdon

Brenda J. Rigdon, 64, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 22, 2023. She was born in Indianapolis, IN, on March 5, 1959, to William "Bill" and Ethel (Hicks) Brown. Brenda was a remarkable woman whose life was filled with vibrant colors, a loving heart, and an unwavering spirit. Her memory will forever shine brightly in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Brenda had a passion for creativity and expression. She enjoyed the art of crochet, using her skilled hands to craft beautiful and intricate pieces. She found joy in dancing and singing, letting her spirit soar to the rhythms of life. One of her trademarks was her bright and colorful makeup, reflecting her vivacious personality.

Wherever Brenda lived, she insisted on having a nice view, and if one wasn't readily available, she made sure to create one. Her love for beauty and aesthetics touched all aspects of her life. She ran a tight ship at home, ensuring her children were always well-kept and clean. Her dedication to her family was unwavering.

Brenda was a force to be reckoned with. She possessed a fiery and fearless spirit, never shying away from speaking her mind. She was authentic through and through, unapologetically herself. Brenda recognized the demons she faced in life and made amends with her faith, finding solace and forgiveness in her relationship with God.

Her generosity knew no bounds. Brenda had a heart of gold and would willingly give of herself to help others. She had a deep love for her family and was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Spending time with her beloved grandkids brought immense joy to her life.

Brenda is survived by her children Larry, Keila, and Josh; grandchildren Ashley, Larry, Harley, Burgandie, Dylan, and Layla; her siblings Terry, Lindell, Debbie, Darlene, and Keela; numerous nieces and nephews; her granddog son Bruno; and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in passing by her parents, William "Bill" and Ethel Brown; her husband Larry Rigdon; her brother Steve; and her sisters Bev and Shiela.

As we say our farewells to Brenda, let us remember her vibrant spirit, her unwavering love, and her fearless authenticity. Though she may no longer be with us in person, her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched.
