Bobbi Michelle (Johnson) Abston

Bobbi Michelle Abston, 49, of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021.

Bobbi was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 1, 1971 to Virgil Johnson and Billie (Smith) Green.  When asked to describe her, the very first person to speak up was her granddaughter Amani, and the first thing she said was that Grandma Bobbi always put people before herself.  She was a great loving person with a kind and generous heart.  Her favorite activities were watching Lifetime movies, cooking, and shopping.  Her and Amani loved going to Hobby Lobby and getting stuff for crafts.  Bobbi loved putting stuff together for Christmas and she always went all out with the food.  Her favorite holiday though was the Fourth of July.  She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed. 

Bobbi is survived by her husband, Matt Lake; her children Kayla, Dalton, and Dillian; her granddaughter Amani; her mother Billie Green; and her brothers Wayne and Kenny.

Bobbi is preceded in passing by her father, Virgil Johnson.

Services for Bobbi will be 4 PM, Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 1 PM until the hour of service.
