Billy R Burton

Billy R. Burton, a skilled woodworker and devoted family man, passed away on July 3, 2023. He was born on October 17, 1954, to Ray and Dorothy (Thomas) Burton. Billy's talent with woodworking was evident in the thoughtful gifts he crafted for his wife and sister. Working with his hands brought him joy and satisfaction.

Among his favorite pastimes, Billy particularly enjoyed camping and fishing, with fishing being his true passion. The peacefulness of the water and the thrill of the catch filled his heart with contentment. These outdoor adventures allowed him to connect with nature and find solace in its tranquility.

Billy's kindness and selflessness defined him. He had a heart of gold and always gave of himself freely. His sweet and loving nature endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His family held an irreplaceable place in his heart, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand to his loved ones whenever they needed him.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Burton, his children Amanda Burton-Sircy, Cindy Burton-McKinnny, and David & William Storm. His siblings, Peggy Smith, Tammy Kendell, and Danny Burton, also mourn his loss. Billy leaves behind six grandchildren and one great-grandchild, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Billy is preceded in passing by his parents, whose loving embrace he has now returned to.
