Beverly "Bev" Ann Perry

Beverly “Bev” Ann Perry, 53, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 11, 2025.

Born on February 24, 1971, to Terry Lamar Guernsey and Jamie Susan Steele, Bev was a force of love and energy. She was passionate about her family, her animals, and her favorite game: baseball.

Bev’s love for softball started young, and she shined as a pitcher for Howe High School and in travel ball. A die-hard Yankees fan, she dreamed of one day visiting New York to see her team play and explore the city she admired so much.

Bev’s love didn’t stop with people; she had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her rescue pit mixes. Her dogs were family, and she cared for them with the same devotion she gave her loved ones. But nothing came close to the love she had for her grandchildren. They were her world, and she never missed an opportunity to spoil them, laugh with them, and be near.

She is survived by her fiancé, Jonathan; her son, Cody Perry, and his fiancé, Bre Slinker; her grandchildren, Calleigh, Raylin, and Jameson; her father, Terry (Karen Lally) Guernsey; and her beloved dog, Gracee.

Bev was preceded in death by her mother, Jamie Steele, and her rescue dog, Bronxy.

In honor of Beverly there is a Celebration of Life March 1st, Saturday, at Diversity Church. The address is 101 E. Raymond Street Indianapolis, IN, visiting 11a.m. service 12a.m.(noon) . Entrance to the parking lot is behind the church.
