Betty Joyce (Lyles) Binion

Betty Joyce Binion, 78, of Indianapolis, formerly of Sumner County, TN, passed away peacefully at home on December 17, 2020 surrounded by her family.

Betty was born in Sumner County, TN on June 18, 1942 to William Henry and Thelma Erlene (Jones) Lyles.  She worked for Indiana Public Schools for 20 years in School Nutrition.  Betty was born again at the age of 14, and she was a faithful member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church.  She married the love of her life on December 29, 1956, and together they raised a Godly family they could be proud of.  Betty was also an award winning quilter. 

Betty is survived by her husband Donnie Lee Binion; her son Timothy (Angela) Binion; her daughter Regina Binion; her grandchildren Aaron (Ashley) Binion, Tiffany (Dereck) Mobley, Cory (Jessica) Houchens, and Shawn Houchens; and her great-grandchildren Lyla Mobley, Caroline Binion, Lucas Houchens, Maveric Mobley, Xander binion, Mason Houchens, Jacob Houchens, Elinor Mobley, Kinslee Houchens, and Silas Binion.

Betty is preceded in passing by her parents, William and Thelma Lyles.

Funeral Services for Betty will be 2 PM, Monday, December 21, 2020 at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church.  Visitation will be from 10 AM until the hour of service, with burial following at Floral Park Cemetery.
