Barbara "Little Barb" Louise Edwards-Angel

Barbara "Little Barb" Louise Edwards-Angel, 67, of Indianapolis, formerly of London, KY, passed away on January 6, 2022.

Barb was born in London, KY, on March 9, 1954, to Preston and Lucy (Truett) Bunch. She earned the nickname "Little Barb" by being small and feisty. No two ways around it, Barb was spunky and opinionated, never one to back down, and always one to speak her mind.  She was a wild child who definitely marched to her own beat.  Barb was creative and adventurous.  She enjoyed traveling with her family and her love, Joe.  Barb was a survivor, she never let life's circumstances hold her back. She was fierce for her loved ones, but had a softer side as well.  She adored all her grandkids and great-grandkids, not missing a single birth. Her spark will be missed.

Barb is survived by her significant other, Joe Jackson; her son David M. Smith and his wife Cherie; her daughter Virginia "Ginny" L. Harris and her husband Josh; step-son Joseph A. Jackson and his wife Jessica; her step daughter Toni Thomas and her husband Chris; 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Barb is preceded in passing by her father Preston Truett; her mother Lucy Bunch; her sister Jeannette (Truett) Patrick; and brothers Walter Ray Pennington, Preston Truett Jr, and Delmer Gene Truett.

Visitation for Little Barb will be from 4-8 PM, Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Funeral arrangements will be in London, KY, at Bowling Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Barbara "Little Barb" Louise Edwards-Angel will be conducted on Friday, January 14 at 12 Noon in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel in London, KY; burial will follow in Snuffer Cemetery in East Bernstadt.

The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 AM Friday until the funeral hour of 12 Noon at Bowling Funeral Home.
