Angela Kay (Miles) Powers

Angela Kay Powers, 46, of Indianapolis, passed away on June 24, 2022.

Angela was born in Indianapolis, IN on September 16, 1975 to Herschell Franklin Miles and Rita Kay (Everidge) Browning. Angela had a smile that could brighten up the darkest room.  She had the biggest heart and her kindness had no limits.  Angela would help out anyone, and if she didn't outright have the means, she would find the way to get them what they wanted or needed.  She was a wizard with pasta, and her rice meatballs have their own legend. 

Angela was fun, the type of person who would go to someone elses' work Christmas party just for the chance to dance, as dancing was one of her favorite things.  It was lucky she did, as that's how Angela met her husband TJ, whom was instantly smitten with her vibrancy and how full of life she was.  Angela loved hard, and her family was the most important thing in the world to her.  She spent as much time with her nieces and nephews as she could, whether it was swimming, roller skating, karaokee, so long as it was time spent together.  Her sister was her best friend and they talked all the time.  Angela was always coming up with reasons to see her mom, whom she considered her very best friend.  She was taken too soon, but we can take solace that she's in the arms of the angels, at peace with her father Herschell.

Angela is survived by her husband, Todd "TJ" Powers; her mother Rita Browning; her sister Jenny Miles; several nieces and nephews including Bailey Griffin, Hershella Griffin, and Jocelyn Williams; her sister-in-law Lindsey Powers; and many extended family members and countless friends. 

Angela is preceded in passing by two children; and her father Herschell Miles.

Services for Angela will be 11:30 AM, Friday, July 1, 2022 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 4-8 PM, Thursday, June 30, 2022 at the funeral home. Burial will follow Friday's service at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
