Angela Sue Haley

Angela Sue Haley, 54, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 25, 2021.

Angela was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 20, 1966 to Arthur Paul and Agnes Carolina (Stokes) Haley.  Angela worked as a Day Porter for several years at the Governor’s office.   She was a strong woman who always stood up for herself.  She fought her own demons, always trying her best, and eventually was able to defeat them.  She was a fighter and faced everything head on.  Her family was the most important thing to her. 

Angela’s greatest wish was to be free, and she was known for saying “Let me be free, let me be me” and she lived and died by those words.  No matter the cost, she was true to herself, and sometimes the cost was very high.

Angela is survived by her sons, Marshall Miller and Nathaniel (Troi) Miller; her grandchildren Marshall, Michelle, and Naomi; her sisters Lavonne Minardo, Patricia Temple, and Rebecca Williams; her boyfriend Mike Lynn; her cats Nikki and Mr. Cheddar; Sonny the Fish; and countless nieces and nephews.

Angela is preceded in passing by her parents, Arthur and Agnes Haley; and her siblings David Haley, Clifford Haley, Dwight Haley, Steven Haley, and Lillian Berry.

Funeral Services for Angela will be 1 PM, Friday, September 3, 2021at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 4-8 PM, Thursday, September 2, at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow Friday’s Services at Floral Park Cemetery.
