Alvin Fredrick (Rick) Kinzie Jr

Alvin F. Kinzie Jr. “Rick”, 58, Peru, Indiana passed away on March 3, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana.    Rick’s life began on December 19, 1960 in Seoul, Korea.   He came to the United States in 1963 with his family where they resided in El Paso, TX and later in Copperas Cove, TX.   In 1978, his family moved from Texas to Warsaw, Indiana to be closer to family.   A couple years later in 1980, the family moved to North Manchester where the family would make their roots.   Rick joined the Marines in the early 1980s where he would be stationed in San Diego, CA.   Rick later returned back to North Manchester.   On June 10, 2000 Rick married Linda Reynolds.     

Rick retired from Auto/Retail Management.   He loved golf, the Dolphins and spending time with his grandson, Ryder “Booman” Weaver. 

Rick will be remembered by is wife Linda Reynolds Kinzie, Peru, IN;

Three children Holli Leanne Kinzie, Peru, IN; Amber Marie Kinzie, Tucson, AZ; and April Nicole Torres, Phoenix, AZ.   Three Grandchildren Ryder "Booman" Samuel Weaver, Peru, IN; Brooke Taylor Torres and Audrey Jaylynn Torres, Phoenix, AZ.

Siblings Jeanne Wagner, Austin, TX; Sue L. Anglin (Thomas Anglin), Indianapolis;
Barbara Ann Kinzie, Southington, CT; and Alvin “Dale” Kinzie, Wabash;

Rick was preceded in death by his parents Alvin F. Kinzie Sr. “Bud” and Chong K. Yi Kinzie “Sue Ann” of North Manchester and Alexandria, Indiana; also preceded in death by his twin grandchildren Samuel James Torres and Noah Que Torres.
