Alice (Napier) Johnson

Alice Johnson, of Indianapolis, formerly of Clay County, KY, passed away on September 11, 2019.

Alice was born in Clay County, KY on October 30, 1931 to Joe and Nancy Napier.  She was a homemaker who dedicated her life to her family.  There was nothing she would not do for the people she loved, and she was the best mother and grandmother in the world. She was a fantastic cook and her chicken'n'dumplings were the best.  She excelled at Southern and comfort foods.  She will be greatly missed.

Alice is survived by her son Ralph Johnson; her grandchildren Ricky Johnson, Kelli Marie Johnson, Amanda Kay Johnson, Jonny Ellenburg, and Floyd Ellenburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Alice is preceded in passing by her husband Arnold Johnson; her parents, Joe and Nancy; and her children Ricky Johnson and Eunice Johnson.

Funeral Services for Alice will be 2 PM, Friday, September 20, 2019 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 11 AM until the hour of service. Burial will follow at Washington Park East.
