Alice Luvenia Fitts Flowers, the daughter of late Warner H. Fitts and Adele N. Fitts, was born on February 22, 1925, in Bethpage, TN. She moved to Gallatin TN at an early age, then to Indianapolis, IN in 1941 with her then widowed father and brother Neal Fitts. Alice was the eldest of two children herself and, brother Neal Fitts (Mary Fitts) her brother preceded her in death in 2011. Alice was baptized in the Catholic Church, before converting to Christian faith.
Alice married Eugene Frink and one child was born (Anthony E. Frink). After their divorce Alice married Wealfread Flowers until his death in 1987. Wealfread and Alice had one child (Victoria L. Flowers Babb).
Alice attended Crispus Attucks High School and played women’s basketball for leisure while attending high school. She obtained her beauty license and worked from home as an Entrepreneur Hair Stylist while also driving the school bus for Washington Township and then retiring from Pike Township as a school bus driver.
Watching the Indiana Pacers on TV, hanging out with her grandchildren, gardening, home landscaping and Saturday morning garage sales were her all-time favorite activities before moving into her condo and altering her life-style due to Dementia.
Alice departed from this life in her home on Wednesday November 24th, at 1:28am at the age of 96. She leaves to cherish her memory Victoria L. Flowers Babb & son in law Rodney D. Babb, her son Anthony E. Frink, and 3 grandchildren, Evan L. Webb, Austin A. Webb and Ryan C. Hubbard, nephews Michael Flowers (Jacqueline Flowers), Johnathan B. Flowers, Calvin Flowers, Troy Bridges, Julian Senter, Joselyn Senter, Bernard Senter, nieces Patricia Flowers, Carla Fitts, (special daughter in law) Florene Fields and a host of other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
