Alfred Dewayne Wombles, 44, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on January 18, 2024. Wayne was born on July 5, 1979 to his beloved parents Alfred and Judy Wombles
Wayne grew up in Indianapolis, In with his parents and sisters, Wayne was prematurely and only weighed two pounds at birth. He was a very adventurous child and always on the go. Wayne was a very loving person with a heart of gold. Anyone who knew Wayne knows he’d give the shirt off of his back if anyone needed it. Wayne was quite the comedian, he loved to make people laugh. That was his way of showing everyone he loved them. Wayne always had a smile on his face and knew exactly how to cheer you up. Wayne loved life and his favorite thing in the world was bikes (GTO Performers) to be exact. He loved sneakers, SnapBack hats, and music. Wayne was momma’s boy, he sure did love his momma. He was all about family, his dad was his hero, his idol, and he never failed to let you know. He was very proud to be a Wombles and very proud of where he came from. He was very proud to be the only brother, he loved his sisters. Above all he loved his children with everything in him. One of his greatest accomplishment is that he with them no matter what, and cheering them on as their biggest fans always and forever.
Wayne is survived by his three children Juleah, America, and Alfred. His five sisters, Bonnie Fuller, Dorothy (Tinsy) Riley, Elizie (Liza) Wombles, Charlotte (Wesley) Wombles, and Kimberly (Luke) Samples. Twelve nieces and nephews, one great niece, and a host of loved ones.
Wayne was preceded in death by his son Chase. His parents Alfred and Judy Wombles. His sisters Leah Beatty, and Ruby Wombles. His brother Mark Young, and a host of loved ones.
