Adrie "AJ" Allen Jones Jr

Adrie “AJ” Allen Jones Jr., 36, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 19, 2025.

Born on June 17, 1988, in Indianapolis, IN, to Adrie Jones Sr. and Diane (Holman) Bird, AJ had a deep love for the outdoors. He had a natural green thumb and could coax just about anything into growing. Fishing was his favorite pastime, and one of the happiest times of his life was spent on the farm—a supposed punishment that ended up being a blessing instead.

In his younger years, AJ loved playing sports. He was also a great cook and took pride in feeding those he cared about. He had a smile that could light up any room and a way of making people laugh, even in the most mundane moments. His easygoing nature and ability to bring joy to others made him well-loved, and he will be deeply missed.

AJ is survived by his mother, Diane; his children, Jordan Jones, Abigail Jones, Adrie Jones III, and Savannah Rose Vaughn; his siblings, Danny Jones, Dawn (Jeremy Bovee) Jones, and Jessie Bird; his nieces and nephews, Bethany, Brooke, Jaiden, Sarah, Michael, Ryan, Rylee, and Kaiden; along with several aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends.

He is preceded in passing by his father, Adrie Jones Sr.
