William "Bill" Sherman Zaenglein, 62, of Rushville, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on March 11, 2019.
Bill was born in Indianapolis, IN on February 16, 1957 to Floyd and Waunepta (Palmer) Zaenglein. After graduating high school he went on to become an electrician; he worked for IBW for over 30 years before retiring. He was a social guy who liked to have fun. He liked cars, guns, and sports like most red-blooded Americans. Basketball was his favorite sport, and he was a big fan of Bobby Knight. So big he named his son Robert after him. AJ Foyt was his favorite racecar driver.
Bill is survived by his son, Robert (Robyn) Zaenglein and his grandson Evan.
Bill is preceded in passing by his parents, Floyd and Waunepta Zaenglein and his brother Bruce Zaenglein.
Funeral Services for Bill will be 11 AM, Friday, March 15, 2019 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 3-7 PM Thursday, March 14, at the funeral home. Burial will follow services Friday at New Crown Cemetery.
