Thomas "Tom" Wayne Shaw

Thomas “Tom” Wayne Shaw, 58, of Beech Grove, IN passed away on April 30, 2019.

Tom was born in Beech Grove, IN on Henry Shaw and Pauline (Basso) Baker. Tom was deeply committed to his faith and family and friends. He had an indomitable spirit, and his love, zeal for life, and commitment made him the go-to man for comfort. He was always there with a kind heart, willing to listen and encourage everyone to seek and achieve their highest potential.  He was reassuring, and was confident in that everything would turn out all right, and all good things came with struggles.  Tom had a passion for knowledge and was always learning, he was very smart.  In his later years he took great joy in raising his grandsons Thomas and Damon with his beloved wife Nola.  Tom and Damon became best friends, and Tom was adamant about being the one to take him to his appointments.  He took a lot of pride in being a Marine and all that came with that duty.  He was an amazing man in many different ways.

Tom is survived by his love wife Nola Shaw; his children Timmy, Jeremy, TJ, Michelle, Kimberly, Jerald, JJ, Leticia, David, Melissa, Brandy, and Bubba; 19 grandchildren; and 2 fur babies.

Tom is preceded in passing by his parents Henry Shaw and Pauline Baker.

Services for Tom will be Monday, May 6, 2019 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 3 PM until the hour of service.
