Tena Marie (Pearson) Maxey

Tena Pearson-Maxey was born on February 4, 1962, She was 57 when she passed away on November 29, 2019. Tena was born a bright, spunky, fun loving girl. She spent part of her childhood in Belleville, In and then moved to Indianapolis, In. She enjoyed gymnastics as a child. In her adult years Tena enjoyed karaoke, animals and spending time with her friends and family. 
Tena was proceeded in death by her parents Fred and Annie Ruth Pearson, her sister Willie Jane Pearson and her brothers Michael and Roger Pearson. She is survived by her three children, Jason, Ashlee and Leslee, her nine grandchildren, Jasmine, Taleena, Ciearra , Travis, Peyton, Joseph, Alexander, Hayden, and Averie, her sisters Pam, Brenda, Ann, Kathey and her brother Jerry and her fiancé Rudy Gil. 
Tena’s greatest joys in life were her children and grandchildren. She loved animals especially her dogs, Chewy, Rascal and Sadie. She also loved butterflies and her favorite color was purple. She was always laughing and having a good time. She knew no strangers and would talk to people anywhere she went. She will always be missed  even though we know she is in a better place with all of the loved ones that she missed so dearly. 
 

Funeral Services for Tena will be 7 PM, Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 4 PM until the hour of service.
