Rosanne "Rose" Sweamy, 70, of Indianapolis passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017.  Rose was born on May 19, 1946 in Indianapolis to the late Bernard Donenfeld and Juanita (Raney) Donnenfeld.  She worked for the Department of Public Works for many years before retiring.  Rose liked reading and puzzles, particularly crosswords.  She had a strong Faith and enjoyed reading her Bible.  She loved spending time with her family and being around them.

Rose is survived by her children, Tony Sparks, Ebony McGavock, and Krista McGavock; her siblings Donna Sarntos, Shiela Dow, and Geroge Donenfeld; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her siblings Jack, Greg, Derrick, and Michelle Donenfeld.  

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2 PM, Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 12 PM noon until the hour of service.
