Robert "Bob" Louis Dawson Jr

Robert "Bob" Louis Dawson Jr, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 24, 2018.

Bob was born in Indianapolis, IN to Robert Louis Sr and Betty Jane (Adams) Dawson.  After graduating from North Central High School in 1970 he went on to get a Bachelor's Degree in Business from IUPUI.  Bob married Pam Dawson in 1994.  He was the Marketing Director for Roche Surety and Casualty before retiring.  Bob was a Commodore of White Rive Yacht Club, an avid boater and a Yacht Captain.  He was very social person and loved to shoot the breeze.  

Bob is survived by his wife, Pam Dawson; his son Robert "Brad" Bradley Dawson; his grandchildren Logan and Brixton; his step-children Keith Aaron (Angela) Parsons and Clinton Ryan (Susanna) Pasons; his step-grandchildren Mattea, Dominic, Ezekial, Josiah, and Quentin; his brother Charles M Dawson; his sister Ester Jinx Dawson; and many nieces and nephews. 

Bob is preceded in passing by his parents, Robert Sr and Betty Dawson. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be 7 PM, Wednesday, September 5 at the White River Yacht Club, 1400 E 74th St, Indianapolis, IN 46240.  Visitation will be from 4 PM until the hour of Service. 

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to either the White River Yacht Club Foundation at 1400 Ruth Drive, Indianapolis IN 46240 or the Leukemia Society of America at  9075 N Meridian St #150, Indianapolis, IN 46260.
