Pete Joe Stowe

Pete Joe Stowe, 39, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 17, 2019.

Pete was born in Indianapolis, IN on July 10, 1979 to Gloria Martin. He worked in construction. He liked to go to Brown County and be outdoor. Every summer he would get in a tanning contest with his sisters Esther and Madeline to see who could get the darkest.  He was a gearhead, his car, a Grand Prix named Clifford, was his baby.  He loved tinkering in his garage, and in addition to cars he liked messing around with lawnmowers, gun, and model cars.  

Pete was a sharp dresser, he enjoyed the casual, yet sporty look.  His shoes were always coordinated with his outfit, and his Jordans were his favorite accessory.  He was funny and gregarious, always in the center of whatever was going on.  He was a great brother, he was always there for his sisters when they needed him. 

Pete is survived by his children Donaven Stowe and Domanic Silcott; his stepdaughter Chelsea Wilson; his long-term partner Christy Adams; his sisters, Esther Martin, Madeline Stowe, Sirena Stowe, and Sylvia Martin; his father Glenn (Lydia) Wright; his nieces and nephews Brittany, Caleb, Justice, Sencere, Sirenady, and Kole; his aunts and uncle Greg Martin, Brenda Martin, Terry Milli, Sherry Steininger, and Jason Steininger; his cousins Anita Feingold, Doug Bourden, Brad Bourden, Paul Martin, Tim Martin, Rodger Martin, Elijah Martin, and Nancy Netherton; his great-aunt Catherine Netherton; and his car Clifford.

Pete is proceeded in passing by his mother, Gloria Martin; his grandparents Donald and Lucille Martin; and cousin Linda Martin.

Services for Pete will be 5PM, Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 3PM until the hour of service.
