Patricia "Patty" Ann (Lott) Hicks

Patricia "Patty" Ann Hicks, 77, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018.

Patty was born in Indianapolis, IN on April 14, 1941 to Aileen Maye Lott.  She was a homemaker and a homebody to the core.  She dedicated her whole life to her family, and she loved them more than anything.  Her children were her best friends and she adored being a grandmother.  There wasn't a mean bone in her body, she would look past every flaw to love the person beneath.  Her favorite thing in the world was giving hugs and kisses, and telling people how much she cared for them.  There was never any doubt that Patty cared, she made sure you knew.  She never let her health slow her down or stop her from being the best mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that she could be.

Patty is survived by her daughters, Amy and Susan (Rick); her grandchildren Ricky, Michael, Brandon, Chelsea, Daysha, and Alexandria; her great-grandchildren Skylar, Kaleb, Lily, Damien, Reggonti, D'mya, and Heriberto.

Patty is preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Tommy R Hicks; her sons Tommy Jr and David; and her mother Aileen.

Funeral Service for Patty will be 12 PM Noon, Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 11 AM until the hour of service. Burial will follow at New Crown Cemetery.
