Norma D Milam, 67, of Plainfield, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019.
Norma was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 31, 1952 to Kenneth George and Catherine (Tabor) Foxworthy. She was a wonderful caring grandmother, but her grandchildren said you knew to run quick when her shoes came off. She was strong-willed, but fair. Norma loved animals, especially dogs, and camping. Family was very important to her, and she loved spending time with them. She really enjoyed games, and her favorites to play with her grandkids were Yahtzee, cards, and Canasta. Norma's second place to play games was at the Casino, where Bingo and video poker were her go-tos. Norma was a good sister, caring mother, and loving grandmother. She will be missed by those privileged enough to love her.
She worked for the Carrier Corporation on West Morris Street, retiring after 25 years with the company.
Norma is survived by her son, Don (Rhonda O'Hara) Orange; her grandchildren Zachary Betz, Abigail Orange, and Aidon Orange; her sisters Sheila (Randy) Silvester and Cynthia (Steve) Kinmen; her nephews Robert Kinmen, Jerry Kinmen, and Joseph Holman; and her nieces Susan Williams, Kristy Goehring, Angela Foxworthy, and Katheryne Masterson.
Norma is preceded in passing by her parents, Kenneth and Catherine Foxworthy; her brother Gary Foxworthy; and her sister Amy Foxworthy.
Funeral Services for Norma will be 10 AM, Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM, Friday, November 15, at the funeral home. Burial will follow Saturday's service at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
