Michael "Mike" Lamont Bonner, 55, of Indianapolis, passed away May 10, 2017.  Michael was born in Indianapolis, IN on May 25, 1961 to Paul Willis Bonner and Ada (Clark) Anderson.  Michael was a handy person, he was a carpenter for many years and liked to do building and construction.  He liked to keep busy and was always working on a project.  He had a stron work ethic, he didn't like to leave projects undone.  He would often work long hours - past the point of practicality - to make sure the job was finished.  He liked his family and loved being a grandpa, spending time with his grandchildren.

Michael is survived by his wife, Nancy Dice; his mother Ada Anderson;  his grandchildren Abigayle Bonner, Gabrielle Bonner, and Joshua Bonner Jr; his siblings Marvin Walker, Morris Bonner, Mark Bonner, Maurice Bonner, twins Keith and Kenneth Bonner, and Quinten; many step-siblings; and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

Michael is preceded in passing by his son, Joshua Bonner Sr and his sister Rita Bonner.

Services for Michael will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from noon until the hour of Service.
