Marsha Ann (Harris) Mefford

Marsha Ann Mefford, 70, of Indianapolis passed away on June 24, 2019.

Marsha was born in Indianapolis, IN on March 6, 1949 to Virgil and Mary (Alderson) Harris.  Marsha liked to write songs and poems, not only were they good they were a way to get out her feelings.  She enjoyed singing and dancing.  It seemed every weekend she went out dancing.  She liked country music but Elvis was her main man.  No one - not even her beloved grandkids - could interrupt when Elvis was on.  

Marsha was very family orientated, she loved them more than life itself.  She was much beloved by them in turn, and was a true angel here on earth.  She was an amazing, dear woman who will be sorely missed.

Marsha is survived by her children, David (Iris) Mefford, Steven (Denise) Mefford, and Kevin Mefford; her siblings Tommy, Sherry, Vickie, Donnie, Lonnie, and Gary; her 9 grandchildren; her numerous great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Marsha is preceded in passing by her parents Virgil and Mary Harris; and her brothers Bobby and Randy.

Funeral Services will be 4 PM, Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 1 PM until the hour of service.
