Margaret Lucille Dunkerson

Margaret Lucille Dunkerson, 84, of Indianapolis passed away on May 22, 2019.

Margaret was born on April 6, 1935 in Indianapolis, IN.  Margaret was a character and one of a kind.  She was definitely not your typical grandma.  She liked to go out and be social, and was more in touch with her grandchildren and their adventures; she loved them very much.  She enjoyed football and shopping.  

Margaret is survived by her children Linda Moncrief, Lou Jennings, Lola (Tim) Poe, Jo Baker, and Lisa (Michael) Wright; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren with another on the way.

Margaret is preceded in passing by her husband Luther L. Dunkerson; her daughter Paula Ratliff; her parents Marcus and Carmen Dunkerson; and her dog Cricket. 

A graveside service will be 11 AM, Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at New Crown Cemetery.
