Joseph "Joe" Edwin Ward, 64, of Indianapolis passed away on September 13, 2018.

Joe was born on January 16, 1954 in Indianapolis, IN to Donald E and Alberta Maxine (Archer) Ward. Joe was mechanically gifted and liked to tinker and work on cars. He drove a wrecker. He was ornery. Joe liked to have fun and be social.

Joe is survived by his children, Michelle (Scott) Ward and Michael Ward; his grandchildren Skylar and Brookelen; his siblings David, Kenny, Susie, and Donnie; his father Donald E Ward; and the mother of his children, Joyce Shipley.

Joe is preceded in passing by his mother, Alberta Ward; and his son Donald Ward.

A Memorial Service for Joe will be 2 PM, Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 12 PM Noon until the hour of service.
