James Winfield Hawkins Jr

James Winfield Hawkins Jr, 60, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019.

James was born in Indianapolis, IN on March 2, 1959 to James Sr and Caroline Sue (Jackson) Hawkins.  He liked to hang out and be social.  He was the type of person who was never afraid to speak his mind, but he was also one of the most caring and big-hearted persons you could hope to meet.  He loved cooking and taking care of people, and he adored his grandchildren. 

James is survived by his wife of 15 years, Teresa; his children Jimmy, Sherry, and Stephanie; his sons-in-law Scotty Sr and Ricky; his grandchildren Cassie, Scotty Jr, Ivan, and Adrian; his great-granddaughter Lorelai "Lola Bear"; his sisters Marty, Jackie, and Debbie; and many nieces and nephews.

James is preceded in passing by his parents, James Sr and Caroline Hawkins; and his brother Butch. 

Funeral Services for James will be  7PM, Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 3 PM until the hour of service.
