Jack Lynn Sturgeon, 67, of Indianapolis passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017.  Jack was born on September 5, 1949 in Tippecanoe County, Indiana to the late Benny and Willa Mae (Day) Sturgeon.  Jack was a proud Veteran who served in Vietnam.  He was very mechanical, and loved to tinker with his lawn mowers.  He was a gifted mechanic.  He liked to be with his family, and he was the kind of person who wanted the best for everyone.  

Jack is survived by his wife, Mary Sturgeon; his sons Benny and William; his grandchildren, Billy, Bry, and Ashley; and a great-grandchild Aidyn, born on August 15.

Funeral Service for Jack will be 1 PM Monday, August 21, 2017 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 11 AM until the hour of service.  Burial will follow at New Crown Cemetery.
