Gary Lee Johnson

Gary Lee Johnson, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 23, 2019.

Gary was born in Indianapolis, IN on May 24, 1950 to Joseph and Eula (Coffey) Johnson.  He liked to be social and have fun.  Gary enjoyed traveling, especially to Florida to go to the beach, and fishing.  He liked Classic Country music.  He had a loving heart, and a good sense of humor.  Gary always had a smile on his face.  He was a good brother, and very protective of his family.  He always said "This is not good-bye, it's good night".

Gary is survived by his children, Tammy, Pamela, and Dawn; his siblings Peggy, Betty, Joann, Sandra, and Joseph; the mother of his children Linda; many nieces and nephews including Brandi and Sandy Jean; 5 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; and many great-nieces and nephews.

Gary is preceded in passing by his parents, Joseph and Elva Johnson, and his brother James.

Funeral Services for Gary will be 6 PM, Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Fountain Square Cremation & Funeral Services.  Visitation will be from 2 PM until the hour of service.
